Elli Sebsatian's fascination with anatomy, culture, and Public Art has lead her work to be human centric with the intent to always create art for people.

Public Art focuses on working with the residents of a neighborhood to express their values through creating art together rather than using public spaces to promote an artist or commercialize a district. Elli Sebastian was intensely inspired by the Public Art piece in Chicago called, “The Wall of Respect,” which assisted in the curation of Black American culture and helped to propel the Black Power movement in the late 60's. With this inspiration, Elli Sebastian's aim is to create Public Art pieces that will nurture the currently uncategorized culture group of multi-racial and ethnic people such as herself through her project, the Multi-Racial & Ethnic Collective.
